Pop-Up Handbag Shop, 9th and 10th May 2014

The Caring for Caroline Medical Trust would like thank Breda Connolly for all of her hard work and dedication that she put into this event. Breda was one of the first people to approach us with a fundraising idea and from the very beginning it was a big success. We had over 1000 handbags donated to us, many brand new with the labels on them.
We would like to thank everyone who donated bags, all of Breda’s team who rallied around and got the shop up and running, Tina from Storm in a Teacup, Skerries, who decorated and displayed the shop, Make Up artist Berni Kavanagh who was on hand to give make overs and beauty advice, all of our volunteers who worked in the shop and finally a big thank you to everyone who came down to the shop and bought bags!

Well Fit Fitness Challenge and Wax\Shave Off, 3rd May 2014

Well Fit done a brilliant job and hosted a very successful and fun day in aid of the Caring for Caroline Medical Trust.

It kicked off at 10am with a series of back-to-back classes including Spin, TRX and X-Fit. Everyone either got to try something new or else challenge themselves and see how many classes they could do. That evening it was time to get revenge on the trainers as they put themselves forward to get waxed. Caroline’s brother Steven, also had his head shaved to support his one and only sister.
We would like to thank Well Fit Gym, Joe Mays Pub, Sarah Nolan (for massaging everyone’s aching muscles throughout the day), our three beauticians Katherine Woods, Michelle Mikulan and Mo Grimes and also Wendy Plant for shaving Steven’s head.

All thanks to Breda Connelly and her team of helpers the Caring for Caroline China Tea Party was a big success.
